Indetechs Software Ltd. (ISL) is pleased to welcome the Sylhet Development Authority (SDA) as one of its newest clients, developing the Electronic Construction Permitting System (ECPS) platform. The ECPS platform marks a step toward digitising construction-related permitting services, making it easier to access services such as Land Use Clearance and Building Permits.

ECPS Platform Unveiled on World Habitat Day 2026

The Electronic Construction Permitting System was unveiled on 6 October 2026 at an event organised to observe World Habitat Day 2026, celebrated under the theme “Adequate Housing for All”. Representatives from Indetechs Software Ltd. and Sylhet Development Authority attended the event to mark the launch and highlight the role of digital solutions in improving construction permitting services.

The Indetechs Software Ltd. delegation included Nayeem Chowdhury, Vice-Chairman; Mahboob Siddiqui, Business Development Manager; and Mohammad Sajib Jahan, Senior Backend and DevOps Engineer. Representing the Sylhet Development Authority were Rezaul Hasan Koyes Ludhi, Chairman, and Md Sadiur Rahim Zadid, Executive Director.

The event provided an opportunity to mark the platform's launch and highlight its role in supporting the Authority's permitting processes.

Making Construction Permitting More Accessible

The ECPS is designed to digitise the process of applying for Land Use Clearance and Building Permits, enabling applicants to complete key steps through an online platform.

Users can create an account and verify their contact details before selecting a service, completing the application form and submitting the required documents. They can also save applications as drafts before submission.

Once an application is submitted, SDA authority reviews the information. The process includes a site visit by a Building Inspector, who can record photographs and comments. Applicants can then view the decision through their accounts, pay the applicable fee at a bank and upload the payment slip. Once the certificate is issued, it can be downloaded and printed with its QR code.

By bringing these steps together in a digital workflow, the platform is intended to make the application process easier to navigate while supporting the Authority's administration of construction-related permits.

Supporting Digital Public Services

Indetechs Software Ltd. is pleased to have supported the Sylhet Development Authority's ECPS initiative. The engagement reflects the role of software and engineering solutions in helping public-sector organisations digitise service delivery and manage administrative processes.

As SDA moves forward with the platform, the initiative represents an opportunity to strengthen digital access to construction permitting services in Sylhet.

Indetechs looks forward to continuing to contribute to digital transformation initiatives through collaboration, technical expertise and practical software solutions.
